What is the fastest way to train ranged in RuneScape? ›

The experience difference shows the amount of experience between the previous level and the level. Note that a 10% growth factor may seem slow, but, as with all exponential growth, it expands rapidly to a massive 13,034,431 experience needed for level 99.

At the mid-level, Chinchompas are going to give you the best XP rates. A Rune crossbow with Broad Bolts is about on par with a Magic short bow with Rune arrows, although Rune arrows are far more expensive than Broad Bolts. In the higher-level bracket, Black Chinchompas give the highest XP rates.

Ranged is one of RuneScape's three combat skills. Ranging involves attacking an enemy from a distance using certain objects, such as a bow and arrows. If you only raise range as your combat stat, then you are called a "ranger".

If you want the best exp per hour, head down to the Varrock Sewers and kill the Moss Giants. They don't drop too much, but they are weak to slash, allowing you to use a rune scimitar or a rune 2h sword with the most effectiveness.

Completing the Waterfall Quest at level 1 Attack and Strength will instantly bring the player to level 30 in each. This quest has no requirements, making it the fastest way to train a brand new account to these levels, skipping much of the slow low-level training.

Crafting lava runes is the fastest way to train Runecraft. They are made by visiting the Fire Altar with essence and at least an equal amount of earth runes. Having a binding necklace equipped ensures combination runes are crafted 100% of the time.
